The ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) Magnetic Fields in the Concomitant and/or Iatrogenic Diseases in the Oncology - Represented Using a QRS Example
|
 |
| Within a pilot study, there should be determined whether the use of magnetic fields with low intensity and frequency - considering their anti-inflammatory, neoangiogenic and osteogenic properties - is efficient in order to - to treat and rehabilitate the mastectomized female patients, - to reduce the postoperative periarthritis and the connective-tissue and post-lymphangitic scleroses, - to control the pain (first of all, at patients having bone metastases), and - to contribute to the reduction of the side effects (phlebitis, neuritis, irradiation dermatitis) at the patients treated through chemo- and radiotherapy.
The study was performed with 23 Patients using the ELF magnetic fields of the QRS Quantron Resonance System. This therapy system creates frequency bands with a multitude of oscillations in the lower frequency field (in particular, from 3 to 22 Hz as well as from 200 to about 1000 Hz).
The patients were subject to magnetic fields of different intensity and time, in dependence on the severity of the disease. As known (see QRS plenary lecture by M. Krauß), the frequency content stays constant at that. Each patient was treated one to two times per day. The treatment duration was 8 to 24 minutes. The intensity of the applied magnetic fields amounted to 3 mT to 13.5 mT.
The patients who were included in the study subdivide by the indication as follows: - 18 mammary carcinomas - 2 melanomas - 1 lymphoma - 1 intestinal carcinoma - 1 ovarian carcinoma
The average duration of the patient treatment was: - 112 minutes with 3 mT - 99 minutes with 7.5 mT - 118 minutes with 10.5 mT - 131 minutes with 12.5 mT - 176 minutes with 13.5 mT (accumulated total number of minutes)
The state of the patient at the beginning of the treatment was as follows: - 4 of the female patients with mammary carcinoma had been mastectomized. - 5 female patients had a carcinomatous mastitis. - 8 patients got a chemotherapy. - 2 patients got a radiotherapy. - 4 patients got a radiotherapy as well as a chemotherapy.
First results of QRS magnetic field therapy: - All patients reacted positively to the treatment. - The pains were relieved. - The wound healing was accelerated. - An effectice control of the side effects in case of the chemo- and radiotherapy was achieved, with a corresponding improvement of the life quality as well as a reduction of the of the therapies stated above. - At one female patient, a significant reduction of the tumor markers was achieved. - At patients with carcinomatous mastitis, a reduction or even a disappearance of the inflammation turned out.
